NETANYAHU TO LEAD EFFORT IN THWARTING OBAMA BID FOR UN CHIEF: PM Benjamin Netanyahu, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, will make common cause with moderate Arab governments in order to sabotage USA President Obama’s presently brewing plans to succeed Ban Ki-moon when the South Korean diplomat ends his term as United Nations secretary-general on December 31, 2016. Obama has reportedly already discussed the issue of running for secretary-general with Democrats, Republicans, and Jewish officials in the USA. The sources said that once Netanyahu got wind of Obama’s plans, the prime minister began to make efforts to submarine what he has referred to as “the Obama project.” “Wasn’t eight years of having Obama in office enough?” Netanyahu is quoted as saying in the Kuwaiti daily. “Eight years during which he ignored Israel? And now he wants to be in a position that is liable to cause us hardships in the international arena.”

The issue of military grade weaponry in the hands of civilians looms ever larger in the face of the global implementation of 22/Agenda 21 by member nations. In particular, the United States of America has an estimated 500 million weapons in the hands of its civilian population. This is not just a static problem, it is a massive dynamic problem for the process of confiscation as there will be those who refuse to surrender their firearms.
From TribLive.com, By Tribune-Review, 04/03/13 (Updated 11 hours ago) – Contemptible as it is convoluted, the Arms Trade Treaty that sailed through the United Nations on Tuesday — and with considerable U.S. support — deserves swift rejection by the U.S. Senate as a fitting rebuke to the Obama administration for foisting this nonsense on the American people.
Hailed by naive supporters and gun-grabbers alike, the treaty is supposed to stem the flow of conventional weapons to terrorists and other thugs. How?

NETANYAHU TO ANNOUNCE A MAJORITY COALITION BY NEXT WEEK: The Likud Beytenu is close to signing a coalition agreement with the Yesh Atid party, sources in both parties confirmed Friday. Yesh Atid chairman, Yair Lapid, has agreed to give up his demand to be appointed to the position of Foreign Minister, which PM Binyamin Netanyahu is saving for Yisrael Beytenu chairman, Avigdor Lieberman, until the end of his trial.
Opposition to a proposed United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) is growing over concerns about its possible implications for America’s sovereignty and interests.
As Heritage’s Kim Holmes explains in the Washington Times, the language in the draft circulated at the U.N. this week would harm law-abiding nations like the United States while allowing the true offenders to carry on with their arms trafficking.
Under the rhetoric of international security and justice, member states of the U.N. are working on a legally binding treaty to regulate the sale or transfer of all kinds of arms, which treaty supporters say contribute to human rights abuses, violence, crime, and terrorism around the world. But the U.N. continued to undermine its credibility and contradict its own intentions by electing Iran to a top post at the treaty conference, even though the Security Council had recently found that Iran had transferred weapons to Syria.
From TheHill.com, By Jeremy Herb – 07/13/12 – Defense hawks in the Senate are in a holding pattern on a United Nations arms treaty that’s drawing strong opposition from the National Rifle Association over Second Amendment concerns.
Several influential Republicans defense hawks said Thursday they have to study the issue further before signing on to oppose it, despite a vocal pressure campaign from the NRA.
Who was it that said, “I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.” That’s right – it was God! Do you think he meant it? Have you ever known God to change his mind?
Thankfully, there are organizations who are doing more than just talking about blessing Israel. We invite you to examine Christians United for Israel (CUFI).
