This is awesome, and if it was universally required would be a good step towards fixing our republic.

Via Breitbart:

The Republican controlled legislature in South Carolina recently infuriated liberal groups by insisting that state universities teach students about the U.S. Constitution and other founding documents.

America’s Parity – The Government vs We The People

by Lenny Leatherman

AR_15-1

Why do I need an AR 15?

For the same reason I needed an M-16 when I was in the U.S. Army – to defend against a tyrannical hostile force.  Hopefully, it will not be the U.S. government!

I believe the current administration would like nothing better than to strip ‘We the People’ of any means to defend our Constitution against all enemies; foreign AND domestic.

Why America’s Leading Libertarian Is Endorsing Mitt Romney And Joining The GOP

From Personal Liberty Digest, September 13, 2012 by  –

Hello, I’m Wayne Allyn Root for PersonalLiberty.com. I have a major political announcement: the biggest one of my life. Before I tell you about the most important decision of my political life and a little about my personal story that led to this decision, let me first cut to the chase.

If Obama is re-elected on Nov. 6, America and capitalism both face grave danger. I believe America as we know it and love it, the America of our Founding Fathers, the America that embraces capitalism and offers the famous American Dream, the America represented by the U.S. Constitution, the America of freedom, the America that allows the pursuit of happiness — that America is finished. Gone. In the rearview mirror. I don’t believe we ever recover from another four years of Barack Obama.

School folds on effort to eject church group

Superintendent: Pastor’s sermons violated ‘anti-bullying and nondiscrimination policies’

From World Net Daily, Augus4, 2012 – School officials in Miami have called off their effort to terminate a church’s agreement to lease school facilities after determining that the pastor’s expression of biblical beliefs was within the Constitution.

“The school district acknowledges the constitutional right of all persons to express themselves freely. Our firm belief is that, under the law, constitutionally protected freedom of speech for all, including those who lease our facilities, must be observed even when it may be perceived as offensive to some,” said a report from Supt. Alberto Carvalho to the school board.

I didn’t earn that!

It is my simple opinion when I say of my 1st Amendment rights; I didn’t earn that! Somebody else did that for me!

Our Founding Fathers

For that – I say thank you Mr. President!

Literally thousands of Americans who came before me paid to secure my unalienable rights with their blood.

It is up to you and me however, to ensure by all means necessary, that YOU are not denied YOUR right to express YOUR opinion!

Incumbents: Meet Horatio Bunce

As you read Henry Lambs column below, think about our County Government and how easily our own “public servants” on Commissioners Court give away money that is not theirs to give! Next time you talk to your Commissioner or the County Judge, ask them, “where do you find in the Constitution any authority to give away the public money in charity?”

It ain’t there folks – and it is the same U.S. Constitution that Horatio Bunce talked about when Colonel David Crockett was a member of the U.S. Congress. They had no authority to give away public money then and they do not have that authority now. But they continue to give away thousands of dollars year after year to non-governmental agencies because we let them – because we don’t stop them with our vote!  Thus creeping socialism is alive and well in Parker County, Texas – disgusting!

Why The President Should Be Fired

GOPUSA.COM,By Henry Lamb April 9, 2012 –

Henry Lamb

There are far more reasons to fire President Barack Hussein Obama than can be addressed in a single column. Here are just a few reasons that should be considered.

President Obama believes that the U.S. Constitution is flawed, and despite his oath to protect and defend it, he has consistently ignored it. Almost immediately after taking office, he assumed power not granted to him by the Constitution. He took control over the auto industry. He picked GM’s board of directors. He cancelled debt owed to bond holders and gave that money to labor unions instead. He, through his people, decided which dealerships would close and which would remain open. Most of those that were closed, not surprisingly, were owned by Republican supporters.

The Freedom Index

A Congressional Scorecard Based on the U.S. Constitution

Try to imagine the change that would come over America if every elected representative based every vote for the next 20 years on the United States Constitution.  Wouldn’t it be great if someone would take a snapshot in time that shows how near to, or far from the Constitution our current elected representatives are voting today?  Well, someone has done just that! Go to The Freedom Index and see how our Congressmen and Senators are voting ~ the results are alarming!
