Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act on the Floor today!
From Eagle Forum Capitol Hill Office, June 18, 2013
The House of Representatives is scheduled to consider H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act TODAY. This bill is a nationwide ban on abortions after 20 weeks.
A Gallup poll from last December shows that 64% of Americans, though divided on Roe v. Wade, support limits on abortion to some degree. In the wake of the recent conviction of Philadelphia late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who was found guilty of first-degree murder in the case of three babies born alive in his clinic, we are seeing these numbers climb as people become more educated.
