About The TEA Party Patriots of Parker County:
The Legitimate Parker County Tea Party of Texas is a grassroots group of Americans united to share our common value – that the Constitution of the United States should be the governance of our land. It should not be re-interpreted or revised in meaning to meet the needs to special interests or political favors. We’re concerned about reckless overspending, unfair and punitive taxation, and the increasing lack of government constraints. We are peaceful American citizens that organize protests and rallies in Parker County, Texas. We’re not contained by any particular ideology or party, but strive to be a pluralistic and populist movement committed to Liberty, especially economic liberty.

Lloyd Marcus Update from the road of Tea Party Express III,
As millions of my fellow Americans, I am outraged, devastated and extremely angry by the democrat’s unbelievable arrogance and disdain for We The People. Despite our screaming “no” from the rooftops, they forced Obamacare down our throats. Please forgive me for using the following crude saying, but it is very appropriate to describe what has happened. “Don’t urinate on me and tell me it’s raining.” Democrats say their mission is to give all Americans health care. The democrats are lying. Signing Obamacare into law against our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of their hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent on government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America.
GOP lawmakers file ethics complaint against Empower Texas
From chron.com, by Gary Scharrer, April 3, 2012 –
Two Texas House Republicans filed ethics complaints Tuesday against “Empower Texans” and it’s affiliated group – “Texas for Fiscal Responsibility” – and their president Michael Quinn Sullivan , on charges that group leaders lobby legislators without registering.
Rep. Jim Keffer, R-Eastland, and Rep. Vicki Truitt, R-Keller, say they filed the complaint to protect the public’s interest in ethical state government. Keffer is chairman of the House Energy Resources Committee and is a former chairman of the Eastland County Republican Party. Truitt is chairman of the Texas House Committee on Pensions, Investments and Financial Institutions and sits on the board of the Texas Federation of Republican Women.
Tim Dunn, of Midland, controls both Empower Texas and Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, which advocate smaller government and lower taxes.

Michael Williams Endorses Lynette McCracken for Precinct Chair, Pct 400
Hard-working, energetic grassroots leaders who have a consistent conservative compass, the courage to make the right decision, even when it’s hard, and who are so personally grounded by their faith so as to not be seduced by the appearances and trappings of power are the soul of our party. Lynette meets this test in spades. With great enthusiasm I wish her well and lend her my support in her campaign. The folks of Parker County precinct 400 will be well served by her leadership.
