Ed Meese: ‘This Is the Most Lawless Administration in the History of the Country’

From The Daily Signal, by Genevieve Wood, 09/09/14 –

In an interview just days before the 227th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution, former attorney general Edwin Meese III issued a sharp rebuke of President Obama and his administration’s actions. “This is the most lawless administration in the history of the country,” Meese told The Daily Signal. After serving in the Reagan administration, Meese went on to become the Ronald Reagan distinguished fellow at The Heritage Foundation.

 >>> On Sept. 11, at noon, Meese will host an event at Heritage, “The Heritage Guide to the Constitution, Second Edition: What Has Changed Over the Last Decade and What Is Ahead?” Watch online or RSVP to attend.

  1. I would say that the Kenyan’s admin is possibly AS lawless as prior administrations.

If we simply look to Obummer’s predecessor, George W. Bush, his administration gave us a whitewash investigation of the events of 9/11 (as the 9/11 Commission was primarily comprised of political insiders…same as the Warren Commission in the 60’s), the criminal invasion of Iraq based on fictitious WMD’s that Bush knew to be non-existent at the time of the invasion (that resulted in the deaths of approximately 6,000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis), the invasion of Afghanistan to go after terrorists who allegedly came from Saudi Arabia, the unpatriotic “Patriot Act” that stripped away many of our few remaining civil liberties in the name of supposed safety, the admitted criminal torture (under U.S. and international law…allegedly punishable by death if you’re not “above the law”) of mere suspects that even resulted in the deaths of a number of detainees, and a massively-expanded national debt that only continues going up under the illegal alien’s current admin…and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

An interview with Ed Meese who opines about “the most lawless administration in the history of the country” is akin to having a prostitute tell you that her competition, another prostitute, is the biggest slut in town. You might want to consider the source.

Definitely a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Meese was up to his eyeballs in Iran-Contra and especially the infamous 1985 HAWK transaction , the Bechtel Iraqi-Jordan pipeline scam back in the ’80s , and is regarded as the “godfather” of the ” drug war” civil asset forfeiture program.

So yes, Ed meese should certainly be able to sniff out lawlessness………he was as much a poster child for it as traitors like Ollie North were.

Seeking a moral and philosophical high ground among these birds of prey? The Reagan-Bush-Clinton-BushTheLesser-OBOMBa criminal cartel should all be arrested.

“Bipartisanship” should be a noose at each end of the rope
