For Immediate Release –
July 13, 2014

The following statement can be attributed to State Representative Phil King (R-Weatherford):

“Earlier this afternoon I received a call from Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler regarding the sexual assault of a nine year old girl. It is inconceivable that a man who has been deported four times is back in our country to assault a child after breaking into her home. What is it that Washington, DC does not understand about the need to secure our border against criminals? As a former police officer, I can assure you this crime would have never occurred if our border had been properly secured, preventing his reentry after deportation.”

  1. And just what has Phil King done to help close the border, besides taking a ride on one of the new armed patrol boats? ( which accounts for naught in my book)

My sentiments exactly, Jack . I do not recal,l one thing regarding border security to which I can associate with King .

He seems to be just like all the tough tallkers in the Repug primary campaign ads we all suffered through on television, a few months back. They all seemed to have a “plan” for securing our borders, so they told us.

This conveniently timed little “political ad” is nothing but Kings usual hucksterism, try to con the simple-minded in to opening the wallet.

Smacks of a “protection racket ” scheme – ” you pay me and I will protect you !!”

  3. Phil I wish you could remember and comment on the times that I tried to engage you Senator Cornyn and the then lueitenant governor on this issue. you were complacent, hands off, and in denial of responsibility What has changed?

    1. Absolutely NOTHING has changed, Stan.

King is a “team player” – he is not about to buck the prevailing political winds in Austin. He is a shameless “politician” and not a statesman of principle by any measure whatsoever.

Why TX Gov Perry Won’t Put Natl Guard On Border

Here is a very good read on the border problem, and Republican somnambulism.

Everyone has been wondering why our (thankfully) soon-to-be-gone governor, Ricky Perry, hasn’t called up the Texas Army National Guard? He has activated TDPS (Texas Department of Public Safety) and some other organizations, but it’s not enough. Last night, although it pained me, I watched the interview with Sean Hannity and Ricky Perry. While they were sitting there on the Rio Grande, seven more illegals were caught trying to cross over into OUR country.

It has cost we the people of Texas over a half billion dollars since 2005 dealing with the illegals invasion across our border. Two weeks ago, Perry announced the State of Texas was about to begin a surge against the hordes costing we Texans $1.2 million dollars a week.

During that interview, Ricky Perry constantly commented how many times he’s ask the fraud playing president to put the National Guard on the border. Why won’t Ricky put the Texas Army National Guard on the border since we have no constitutional militia? I did some research: – See more at:
