Stand Up and Speak Up ~

Lenny Leatherman – I find it perplexing that so many people in Parker County will rise up in righteous indignation to protect the life of innocent puppies from slaughter at our animal shelter, but remain strangely silent when it comes to speaking up and fighting to save innocent unborn children from a savage and brutal death by abortion….

I know of no cause worth the fight that is easy. But sometimes it takes little more than resolve and steadfastness to encourage others to follow. We all have excuses. I’m too old, or I don’t have time – bla bla bla.

I believe a good place to start is in our own community, talking about, and thinking about ways to work with other groups who may already be organized and need only ‘foot soldiers’ to take the message forward. Get Church leaders involved. Keep stirring the pot until the public gets sick of the stench!

Since 1973 we have cowered behind Roe v Wade and said “We can do nothing. It’s the law of the land.” Nonsense!

Someone much smarter than me once said, “If not now, when – If not me, who?”

Dawn King – FINALLY!! Absolutely lets talk about the MURDERING of our own kids! All of us are sickened when reading in the Bible about the parents that would throw their new born children into the fire to “appease” the false god “Molek”. I have listened as people judge these “non-believers” as monsters, devil worshipers, uncaring haters… and yet here WE are, the sheep of His pasture ALLOWING 3700+ babies to be murdered PER DAY in this country alone.

We have allowed our babies to be ripped apart… limb by limb or had their heads crushed. WE ALLOW THIS IN “The land of the free and home of the brave” – AND we have our Secretary of State going to other counties giving them OUR money to preform abortions! The best part… we all stand and sing “God bless America!” Makes me PUKE!!!!!! I worked at Grace House for over a year and saw many young woman decide to keep their babies when others were telling them to “just get rid of the problem”.

Lenny is right, our churches (which by definition is the people of God!) need to step up, speak out and make a difference in our community. No, we can’t do anything about New York but we darn well can do something about our own backyard!!

Jack Pickard I thank God each day, for a mother that I do not know her name, but that I do know was my birth mother who wanted me in spite of the difficulties she would have to endure; that elected to not abort me and tried to do everything in her power to keep me. This was not Gods plan for her. She had to turn me over to a Dallas Adoption Agency (Hope Cottage), she did this two different times as she was trying to make a go of it, but had no financial support and could not.

The second time she brought me to Hope Cottage they advised and praised her for doing her best to make a go of it, but advised her that it was time to let go and let the agency find adoption parents that could provide better for my needs than she could.

Shortly after this she passed on, God called her home to her reward in Heaven. I was adopted into a wonderful family, who had lost one daughter to a terrible health issue when she was 12 years old. They knew they needed to share their love for children and adopted a daughter first and then me about 3 and a half years later.

To make a long story short, 62 years later all is well in my life. I thanks God for all those decisions made on my behalf so many years ago. There are solutions out their, abortion should not be one of the solutions. There are more than enough parents to go around for children that need parents. Adopt don’t abort.

Would baby Moses be aborted in today’s society?

How much have we altered history by legalizing the slaughter of innocent helpless unborn children?

Statistics show that approximately 52 million abortions have been committed since the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision.

A mother’s womb is said to be a safe and secure place for an unborn child.  Sadly in America, the wombs of 52 million mothers have become death chambers!

We look in horror at pictures of Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps where 20 million Jews were killed. We rightly condemn the Nazis for their heinous crimes against the Jewish people, but look the other way in callous disregard at the barbaric slaughter of our own unborn children.

I said, “God, when are you going to cure cancer?” God said, “I sent you the cure, but you aborted the messenger.”

How long will God bless a nation who expresses no remorse for the 52 million abortions that have already been committed – whose government officials promote and even finance the slaughter of our innocent unborn children?

How much longer will we stand by in silence, and tolerate this barbaric behavior?

Stand up and speak up!

You cannot make a difference by remaining silent!

    Amen!

  3. The same error that endorses gender re-identification excuses abortion. That error is the god of personal opinion. If I think I am a male/female, therefore I am. If I think what I carry is a lump of worthless tissue, then it is. If I think it is a beloved child, then it is. How absurd. How sad. How sinful.

I can only fight one battle at a time, however this cause pains my heart deeply, as does trafficking. http://www.traffick911.com/page/what-is-human-trafficking

  5. My Husband and I were both adopted children so this is a very important issue to me but not sure what to do about it. I have attended pro-life events in the past and donated money to the cause. I post on the issue often on my facebook page. The church I attend is very involved in speaking out on this issue. What else is it you are suggesting we do?
