The Planned Parenthood facility that botched an abortion on Tonya Reaves and claimed her life not only failed to call 911, as LifeNews previously reported, but also purposefully ignored instructions to do so.
Operation Rescue has obtained a recording and computer aided dispatch transcript that indicates, on the same day 
that Tonya Reaves died from hemorrhage caused by a uterine perforation after a second trimester abortion, the Chicago Planned Parenthood that killed her ignored instructions from an emergency dispatcher to directly call 911. Planed Parenthood staff were lectured by emergency personnel to call 911 in the event of an emergency in order to prevent wasting precious time that could adversely affect a patient needing immediate medical attention.

That’s according to the Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, which had battled the abortion industry giant’s plans to open the business in their neighborhood.
“This was the specific task we had before us, and we prevailed! That Planned Parenthood, one of the largest abortion providers in Michigan, would agree not to perform abortions in this 17,000-square-foot building is a huge victory for the right-to-life cause,” said Monica Migliorino Miller, director of CPLS.

Texas County Ends Taxpayer Funded Abortions
Thursday afternoon, board members of Central Health (formerly Travis County Healthcare District) voted unanimously to end using $450,000 of taxpayer money annually to fund abortion. Travis County was the first Texas county to use taxpayer money for abortion, which it distributed to abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood. As the U.S. House of Representatives takes up the debate about spending and the federal budget this week, one man is waging his own battle. Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) has filed an amendment which would defund Planned Parenthood altogether! Even President Obama has acknowledged our need to cut federal spending, and what better way to do that than by ending funding for a shady organization that encourages women to have abortions. In recent days, Planned Parenthood has come under fire after an employee offered to help young girls in prostitution get abortions without parental consent. A few years ago, Planned Parenthood was caught agreeing to accept money for the purpose of aborting minorities’ children. With our government debt at an all-time high, there is no excuse to send a penny to Planned Parenthood.
The amendment is expected to come to a vote early this afternoon. It’s not too late to contact your Congressman to ask him or her to vote for defunding Planned Parenthood! Call now!

Dramatic story recounted in ‘unPLANNED’ by Abby Johnson
Abby Johnson’s life changed dramatically and forever Oct. 6, 2009. That was the day that she witnessed her first abortion as director of a Planned Parenthood clinic and resigned from the largest abortion corporation in the nation and became a pro-life activist.
She tells her story in a new book, “unPLANNED,” this month – just in time for the 38th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.
What changed her mind about abortion, ultimately, was seeing on an ultrasound screen a 13-week-old baby fighting for its life in the womb – only to lose that battle to the abortionist whom she was assisting.
Not knowing where to go, Johnson turned to a local pro-life resource group. She explained the events that she had witnessed and swore that she would begin to advocate for life in the womb, instead of destroying it. Even though she had not intended on being a public figure, God had different plans.
When Planned Parenthood found out about Johnson’s change of heart, they were frightened that others would hear her story and then change their minds on abortion. Their defense was to silence her with a temporary gag order and eventually take her to court. They also decided to inform the media of their gag order.
Since her departure from Planned Parenthood, Johnson has been traveling the country sharing her story and motivating others to continue the pro-life fight. She also works on projects for the national 40 Days for Life team. She lives in Texas with her husband and daughter.
Johnson also told her story on the TV show “Facing Life Head-on” recently during an episode that also featured WND Managing Editor David Kupelian, the author of “How Evil Works.”
“unPLANNED” is more than a personal story about abortion. It’s also a story of spiritual transformation.
