I hope you can take time to read this article by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott in which he explains why the State of Texas has sued the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Unchallenged, the EPA’s position on man-made carbon dioxide emissions and global warming will empower President Obama, Congress and federal agencies to enact sweeping “cap and trade” regulations. Cap and tax, as it is sometimes called, will be devastating to the Texas economy and will have no significant environmental benefit.
