I hope you all can attend. I know you all will be very busy supporting the election process this spring and appreciate your willingness to consider attending. If you have not attended one of of our candidate forums, our moderator Jon Moffett does a very nice job. Questions are taken and screened for appropriateness and its relation to the office. The event timeline is held very tight and the evening runs smoothly. If you are a candidate or know a candidate and would like to attend, please contact our moderator Jon Moffett at 817/715-7254.
VOCL (Voice of Christian Liberty) is again hosting a Candidate Forum at our church. Last year we had the 2nd largest forum, with candidates from all levels and 3 political parties.
Once again, we have candidates attending from the county, state, and national level. We have invited all candidates Republican, Democrat and Independent alike – I know that Parker County did not have any Democrats file but we do have candidates from both parties at the state and national level. We also have many candidates running in the Republican Primary and not all are conservative and as willing to support the home school movement. Now more than ever, we must get informed and get involved.
Please see attached the flyer about the Candidate Forum. On the flyer, a question box is included. Appropriate questions will be accepted and presented to the candidates.
Mark the date – February 2nd at 7:00 pm Real Family Fellowship, 202 Pearson Lane, Azle, Texas.
As a candidate in the last election, this was my favorite candidate forum! It wasn’t in my precinct, but I decided to attend and I was glad I did. As commissioner, I not only take care of the roads in my precinct, but I also vote on things that affect the whole county. Good people, great questions, fantastic forum! This is a family event. My favorite part was that the youth asked questions.
Last night my wife Sharon and I attended the 2010 VOCL Primary Election Candidate Forum Voice of Christian Liberty at the Real Family Fellowship Church in Azle.
We were thoroughly surprised and impressed by the manner in which both candidates and Church staff conducted themselves.
We observed the young Pastor and his staff of approximately 30 teenage patriot as they conducted the Candidate Forum with dignity and character. No doubt all in attendance were inspired by the servitude and patriotism of this young group of volunteers.
We left at the conclusion of the forum with a renewed sense of hope and confidence in a fresh new generation of bright young courageous leaders that God is raising up to carry on the never ending struggle against threats of socialism and tyranny.
Pastor Joe, thank you for standing up, and speaking up!
